🥖Lil Treasures #154:Flower Boys and Unlimited Breadsticks
We've got some good treasures for your holiday weekend
Hello there!
I hope you are reading this feeling very full and cozy on this delightful Thanksgiving weekend. I ate my weight in smokey mashed potatoes yesterday and it was peak holiday feasting. I have a bounty of treasures + tweets for you today but otherwise this week will be short and sweet! Anyone else have the daunting task of creating the Christmas magic in your house in the near future?
Can’t wait to hear all about your Thanksgiving’s in the comments! 🧡
Holiday Treasures:
😭I really love some good data so I have mad respect for this crying log. Saving this to do later at some point.
🥃Thanksgiving break is still going, which means you still have time to make this Thanksgiving cider punch before the weekend is over!
🌹These grown men as flower boys in their sister’s wedding was next-level.
🕯️Advent begins this Sunday! Over at The Bible Binge, we put together a great list of our favorite Advent guides on our Amazon page if you’re looking for a study for this year.
🎸The dopamine hit I get every time this song plays.
🥧May this holiday laugh roundup bring you the same joy it did to me!
Still bringing you the best Tweets:

Hope you had the most lovely Thanksgiving! Are you spending this weekend anywhere dreamy? Did you eat anything that rocked your world? Let me know in the comments! See you next week, pals.
Lil Swipes. I have had QUITE the holiday.
We drove 4 hours to meet my parents at a VRBO for Thanksgiving, but my dad’s retina is detaching, so they were literally in Utah for less than 48 hours and they have to fly back to Indiana so my dad can have the surgery to re-attach his retina. Pls send retina re-attaching vibes to my dad so that he does not permanently lose vision in his right eye.
But also, if you’ve been around long enough to know about my friend McKenna, I need you to know that I got to hug and squeeze her last night and hear about her prosthetic leg and laugh with her and when they were leaving her mom hugged me and said, “It’s so good to hear you two laughing together again” and that healed my heart more than I can say.
We’re driving back to SLC two days early since my parents are leaving. I hope all your thanksgivings were great and that you got to eat your favorite dishes!
🦃 TG went super well! Because my parents got sick late last week, we decided that I would spend TG with my friend, her husband, and her family. I’ve always been creeped out by TG food in the past, but they went ALL OUT and had all different types of apps (to the aunt that made spinach artichoke dip, THANK YOU) alongside the main dishes (highlights include homemade cranberry sauce, the five cheese macaroni and cheese, creamy mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, and green beans for ~balance and health~). My family has historically sucked at cooking and if my friends were to invite me again for TG...I wouldn’t turn it down. My parents and I will figure something out. 🥰
🕵🏼 Glass Onion was KILLER (literally and figuratively!). The social commentary was spot on, and the little meta narratives about Hollywood were delightful. Without spoiling anything, I don’t think Rian Johnson and Daniel Craig knew that Elon Musk would buy Twitter when this movie came out, and while the events in the film are obviously very different than current events...it still hits HARD and unabashedly so. 🔥
👯♀️ It’s not every week that you get to have four Thanksgiving dinners with various friends and family, but this week has made me realize how blessed I am with people who truly love me and how rare and beautiful that is.
