🍗 Tendie Tuesday: Q + A Week!
Aliens, flowy mysteries, making time and space for yourself and friendships & more!
This is our last full week before school starts, and I’m half agony, half hope, as one is. Bring me the routines, bring me the schedules, the guardrails. I love them. This is also the first time since becoming a mother I think I will miss summer. That might be because 2/3 of my children are currently out of state, but alas.
Still hunkered down, trying to finish the first draft of the manuscript (officially due in exactly one human month), we have our version of the summer closing ceremonies (hat-tip to the Internet’s Best Older Sister, The Lazy Genius), driving to Oklahoma for the Hicks Family Reunion (this is our 60th!), so this week is a light and breezy Q + A. I hope summer is either hitting its stride for you, wrapping up nicely for you, or if you’re in a different hemi, far away enough not to be bothersome.
Today we’re answering the following questions, and of course, if you have wisdom about any of these, please throw it in the comments:
my recommendations for a study Bible for teenagers
where are we emotionally on aliens?
favorite flowy shirt recs
a great first spiritual practice for kids
making time for what’s important
