Howdy folks,

I am so pleased to have a special guest writer bringing you the brilliant inner workings of her brain today! This post is written by a dear member of this community, Codi Plaster. Let’s get to know her first:

Codi grew up in the same college town where she graduated, met her husband, and still lives. No one was more surprised than she was when she had 3 kids in 3.5 years. Instead of driving her crazy (although it was a close one), the lens of motherhood has shown the upside-down Kingdom values in a way nothing else ever has. Her day job has her working with college students and chipping away at a doctorate degree.Β Her husband is an incredible 4th-grade teacher and the kids are silly, weird, funny, and loud which, as it turns out, is the perfect combination of their parents.

We are grateful for Codi’s words of wisdom and the time she took to bring this post into existence. You can follow along with her on Instagram at @roosterhousebooks!
