š¦Lil Treasures #156: Biscuits and Christmas Birds
We're talking college moms and weighted blankets
Hello friends,
Congrats! You made it through another week! Thereās so much going on right now and my brain is spinning trying to remember what side I need to bring to which gathering and am I supposed to get a gift? Itās peak Christmas party season so get ready for an overload of cheeseball appetizers! Which I personally do not mind.
In my efforts to create the perfect holiday office vibe, Iāve been burning the mess out of this Holiday Balsam candle1 from Target and queuing up my Christmas tunes all week. I always enjoy the classics and of course, this Cozy Christmas Jazz playlist on Spotify, but I canāt celebrate Christmas correctly without these albums below:
Sufjan Stevens: Songs For Christmas
Hanson: Snowed In
The Brilliance: Advent Collection
She & Him: A Very She & Him Christmas
Amy Grant: Home for Christmas
The Oh Hellos: The Oh Hellos Family Christmas Album
90ās kids will appreciate the Hanson and Amy Grant. What are the Christmas albums you canāt truly celebrate the season without? Let us know in the comments!
Erin is making her transcontinental journey back to the States right now and will be back with us again next week. Thanks for tuning in during her absence! Now letās do the treasures!
This weekās treasures:
š If youāve ever been a college student (or if you are raising one currently) - so pretty much all of us - donāt miss this hysterical video of a mom taking her kid back to college after break. THE ACCURACY.
āļøItās been in the 70ās in āBama all week so this wintery video of the Benson Bridge in Oregon is bringing me comfort as I sit here dripping in my sweater.
āŖI have a lot of thoughts about the Matt Chandler situation over at the Village Church (he is now back in the pulpit), but Katelyn Beaty does a great job summing up some of those feelings in her recent post.
š©āš³You need this recipe for crockpot meatballs in your lives! Also if you are looking for the perfect biscuit recipe, Sister Beth recommend this one and I think we can all trust her on this.
š«¶š½One of our lovely Lil Swipes, Jules experienced a stroke a few weeks ago. She is still recovering and is unable to take care of her mother, who she is normally the primary caregiver for. If youād like to help Jules and her family out during this difficult time, you can give via this link!
The good Tweets:
Okay my brilliant pals, I am off! Have a delightful, Christmasy weekend and Iāll catch you here again next week.

I love the buttermilk biscuits recipe!
I have been really enjoying an Advent playlist on Apple Music. This was just a user created playlist by Joel Ainsworth, but itās moody and peaceful and just the vibe I need!
