Coming to this super late but saw Taylor Friday night and it was transcendent. Singing all too well 10 min version is a spiritual experience. I went for total comfort with a version of the 22 outfit, cotton tshirt that I panic sequined the week before, THE cotton madwell shorts, and keds. Would double down on recommendations for water. Raymond James gets a shoutout for selling the liter Smart waters, it was perfect 💕 also cannot recommend earplugs enough, the loop experience were GREAT for me. Can’t wait to see y’alls’ pics and videos!

Oh, I’m wearing a mauvey pink tulle skirt with embroidered pinkish cowgirl booties, and a black silky top unless I can find a better top...and lots of sparkles ✨

ERIN, you are not even ready for what is about to happen! I am just getting home to NC after seeing her in Tampa. I AM A CHANGED HUMAN. Taylor deserves everything. She is an icon, and a genius, and sounded like a flipping angel!! She was incredible live. OMG her voice. AH

The show. The sheer volume of songs. The storytelling. My love, admiration, and respect for her has increased one-hundred fold. The showmanship, attention to detail, and experience where un-freaking-believable!!! She went so hard, gave it her all, and didn’t even look tired. She is an Olympian. I will fight anyone who disagrees.

Seeing Taylor in Nashville on May 5 with my husband and our 15 year old. It was a gift for her 16th birthday (which isn’t til July). We will be there with several friends and their girls as well. My husband keeps referring to himself as a “Senior Swifty” so I think he’s wearing a T-shirt with those words on it his sister is making him. Who even knows what I’m wearing! I don’t want to be hot so I might be wearing a sundress. My daughter wants me to wear a shirt that says “F@CK the Patriarchy!”, and I really want to. It will likely be a game time devs for me!

My favorite sandwich right now is a pesto ham fig jam sandwich. It’s served on focaccia. I eat it at least once a week on my lunch break. I work at Niedlov’s bakery in Chattanooga and it’s my FAVORITE on our menu.

Seeing her in Nashville. My daughter was an early Swiftie so this will be my 5th time (not counting the livestreams I watch every weekend). Doing Reputation era but just tshirt off Etsy and jeans/sneakers. Sorry I’m 52 and just can’t pull off anything else.

First, huge shout out to Angel Reese. Loved the article. It's so true. Equal standards, please.

Next, my daughters (23 and 17) are going to see Taylor in Philadelphia and I am so jealous! You see, back in the day, I took Older Sister to see One Direction in their second stadium tour and it was horrid. Pennsylvania heat and humidity in July with a zillion screaming teens. Ugh. At that time, I declared that Older Sister would take Younger Sister to her first stadium tour (seven year age difference seemed to work in my favor) because I had put my time in. Well, they took it to heart. Older Sister scored tickets in the middle of her law school classes when everyone else hearts were being broken and they all literally walked around with their laptops open all day because to close it up meant losing one's space. (Literally no one else from Drexel School of Law is going....) Two tickets. Not three. For the concert that is on MOTHER'S DAY, people! So now I'm forced to look at the spread sheet of special songs that are being checked off this list, and purchase sparkly books and random other things for the concert, AND look at TikTok's of whichever concerns happened tonight ....and I am not going with them. I'm not even a super fan but I've listed so much in car when the bluetooth waves have been commandeered so it counts. I hope you all appropriately feel my pain....

Poop: I'm in the final months of my Mdiv studies and I have a raging case of senioritis. I have two self paced classes plus a real time class with tons of volunteer hours required, and it turns out I'm very, very bad at self paced situations. I just want to sit on my couch and play games on my iPad (while above said Taylor Swift TikToks are being cast on the tv to taunt me) or maybe read a book that doesn't also require an expanded outline to be detailed. I'm sure it will be worth it in the end but stick a fork in me, I'm done.

Thanks friends. I'm just enamored with this little corner of the inter webs.

I’m seeing her in Nashville. I’ve landed upon wearing a pair of Amazon lilac satin pajamas as though they are a cute pantsuit, with some cute sneakers and make some pastel bling of some sort. I do have a pastel bejeweled crown but I’m not sure if I’m going that far 🤣. I feel like this tour is kind of like Mardi Gras, so I probably should not go with subtlety.

I don’t want to get attacked in here for making this comment, but I continue to be very conflicted about the constant sharing of HBH’s recipes. She has an ongoing reputation of misinformation, cultural appropriation, and racist stereotypes. I do just scroll by when I see references to her each week, but hoping we do better about these types of things.

I am taking my 18 and 16 year old to Nashville on May 7th for T Swift and we are all very excited. We’re taking the oldest’s best friend, picking up another friend and her daughter in St Louis on our way and meeting another friend and her 2 daughters there who are driving separately. Everyone is very excited and I have zero idea what to wear. I want to be comfy but also fun. And also wondering what the weather will be like...

My oldest has prom tonight and it is a rainy day. I seem to remember it being rainy when I went to prom too. Hopefully when it comes to picture time, the rain will hold off.

Missouri showed off this week in the beautiful weather we had. I spent a lot of time outdoors, playing and watching tennis, walking a golf meet and watching my son’s baseball scrimmage.

Missouri did not show off in good ways politically this week. Ugh.

I think I may have talked about this before but Jen Hatmaker’s Raspberry Potato Chip Grilled Cheese is so so good!

Y’all. I am not kidding. Taylor played for three and a half straight hours. And she is a grown ass woman who knows to respect peoples time so she started right at 8 and ended at 11:30. My girls cried like they were watching Michael Jackson or the Beatles back in the day. They are 15(twins) and 20 so it’s not like they are 7year old weepers. It was awesome and the best memory ever.

I'm not particularly a Swiftie and am generally wary of stadium shows, and yet I'm starting to get FOMO reading everyone's Eras plans. May all of you have the best night ever.

If you're ever in San Antonio, get yourself down to Commonwealth Coffee and get their turkey and avocado sandwich. It comes with a side of sliced tomatoes and mozzarella and is the perfect lunch for any occasion.

First, let’s talk about Easter. We have an egg hunt for the kids. Then we have the kids hide eggs for the adults. An adult easter egg hunt + a garden party in my sisters Nashville/12 South front yard. It’s epic.

We’re going to T-Swift on May 7 in Nashville. Fun fact: we saw her the weekend my daughter started college. This concert will be the day after she graduates. We would NOT be more excited. No idea why I’m wearing. Will be reading everyone comments for inspiration. 💋

We’ll be there on May 7th as well! And same. I’m kind of waiting to see what the weather is going to be.

Ok Erin I need your wisdom here on Endel. And posting here so it will flow to others. I tried the last trial but it was overwhelming. I normally work in silence. But your continued praise makes me have productivity FOMO. I just signed on with a publisher and need to finish my manuscript draft by end of May. 😳 What’s your go to in Endel for writing/working?

I am seeing Taylor in NJ on May 27, with my sister. We last saw her there together in 2018 for the Reputation Tour. I’m still in my Reputation Era. My sister will be dressing for the Red Era. We’re so excited! Hope you & Jamie have the best time in Atlanta, Erin!

I am not seeing Taylor, but I am seeing my beloved Steven Curtis Chapman tonight in a small theater where I will most likely be able to sit down and I am pumped.

Also, any sandwich not made by my hands is the best sandwich.

Oh I got to see him in 2019 at a small venue in the town I live in. I have loved him forever and that was my first time seeing him live and it was just a beautiful night.

I'm seeing Taylor in Chicago in June with my sister and I can't wait! I bought us matching "eras" t-shirts (the one with a full body image of her for each album but in black and white) and I've already planned to wear Dutch braids (b/c i'm sure it will be hot and sweaty in Chicago in June!), jean shorts, Birkenstocks, and do my nails how Taylor did hers in her first Insta post about rehearsing for the show (one nail for each era!). Debating how sparkly/extra to go on the makeup - roll on face glitter like it's 2006? Maybe!
