Humorously, the same night I read your email asking for the algorithm doings of the interwebs, was the same night I texted my friends this same thing. I have receipts.
On Saturday, the algorithms that be, decided to let me know about a great Memorial Day sale going on!! Again, we JUST rounded the corner on July. Sounds like someone is falling down on their algorithm job. Immediately following... Well...I got one asking me to consider asking for... My... Sperm donation. I must say, there is nothing...NUUUUH-THING... In any search or browser history on ANY device attributed to me or my wifi network that would illicit this within my feed. NOTH-THING!!! They are humorous, I will say. Very "catchy" 😏
After screenshoting this to my friend group, I have received MORE notifications throughout the week reminding me of this... option in life. 😳
Any way to see the hospital chaplain’s thread without having a twitter account? Only the first tweet opens with the link but it makes you sign up/log in to see the rest.
First time commenter :) I made a tomato sammie this week with farm stand tomatoes and also pimento cheese, toasted in the oven, and I’m still thinking about how delicious it was.
I don’t usually get weird ads from instagram. However, they think I’m way bougier than I actually am. I click a link to the cool, pretty, exactly-my-taste thing, and then immediately groan when I see the price. I need to retrain the algorithm to get some weird stuff thrown in just for some spice.
There are only 2 turtle pillows left on Amazon. Did the Lil' Swipes create a run on turtle costume purchasing? I hope this was an affiliate link and you can get some turtle commissions :) :) :)
Tomato sandwiches are sacred. The only things that I’m specific about is it must be on Grammy bread. It’s the bread my Grammy makes. It’s the only correct bread. I had a tomato sandwich last night with Grammy bread, pimento cheese, and avocado. And it was the best dinner I’ve had all summer.
This summer has been a glorious series of travels and friends and wonderfulness. I'm on the other side of huge challenges and just soaking in the goodness of the moment. I know more challenges lie ahead, so I'm filling my tank while the sun is shining. Seeing Barbie while traveling to see far-away friends was special. And even though I write this while waiting on a flight delay, when the plane does come it will take me to see one of my college besties so we can see Ed Sheeran!

I'm buying a house!! I went to a few showings on Monday and one house was by far the best thing in my price range so I went for it. Despite my pre-approval the seller's agent wanted some serious reassurance that I was serious and able to purchase. This meant I was trying to submit extra documentation from work while both my realtor or I are out of power. Good news is we got it done, they accepted, and we've scheduled the inspection.
Since we haven't had power since Wed evening, we say Barbie last night. It was fun but I want to see it again when I'm not in the midst of stressful paperwork and power outages. I don't think I was really able to get all the goodness.
I'm off today and has hoping to sew, but that's not happening. I might go wander Home Depot and dream about paint colors and wallpaper!
Here’s what we have dubbed “Rich Man’s Toasted Tomato Sandwich”
Homemade white bread (I’m a bread snob now, it can’t be helped)
Goat cheese instead of mayo
Prosciutto
Tomato (no anemic grocery store tomatoes, must be from our farmer friend or our own heirloom tomatoes; again, I hear myself)
Salt/pepper obvs
Fresh basil leaves
Balsamic glaze drizzle (used to make our own with balsamic vinegar and local honey, but then found the bottled stuff and conceded to convenience on this one point)
We eat it open faced to prioritize more toppings
I understand that this recipe makes me sound hopelessly pretentious and bougie, which I accept, but I can say confidently that this sandwich will restore your belief that God is real and wants good things for you.
I cannot stop thinking about Barbie either. My best friend and I saw it together and we’ve spent our morning walks deconstructing and crying over every beautiful, glittery aspect of it.
Also... facebook ads... I keep getting one for these little tiny plastic hands that go on the tips of your fingers. It’s the weirdest.

I get ads for things that I have already bought! Clock, lamp, etc. and it makes me want to scream, "How do you know this???" every time.

This sounds worth being bougie for! I only eat mine open faced too as I feel like it is the best bread to tomato ratio.
