Well. It’s been a weird one. Definitely a mixed bag.

It was super fun earlier this week to finally pull back the curtain and tell you about my upcoming book, I’ve Got Questions.

I felt like I was keeping a secret from you for months, and frankly, I am relieved! And excited! But also in the same breath, the pants-pooping potential is real.

It’s also just been like, another weird week in America, and I don’t know if we’re supposed to keep remarking on that or if it’s white noise now. I’m doing my best to keep my head down in the work of seeing people as people as hard as I can. It’s a full time job, but someone’s probably doing it for me. 💙

📺 This interview with Tom Hardy where he answered funny questions from kids is truly a delight!

🧶 The internet is full of moms who have pristine homes and perfectly-behaved children and who make homemade macarons just for fun, but for those of us who are maybe not thriving as much, this poem by Lyndsay Rush is for us.

🚲 Can you imagine the amount of sweat and endorphins at this feral cycling class on a Swiftie Saturday? Ima need an invite to one of these ASAP.

🐶 The new movie Twisters opened in theaters this weekend, and although I’m sure the movie will probably be a big hit, I think the best thing that came out of filming was Brisket the puppy.

🎨 It’s a weird time where we’re all grasping at the good things to stay sane, and per usual we can count on David Gate to encapsulate the way this feels beautifully.

⚽ One of the coolest British things I’ve ever seen was The Killers pausing their show for the last minutes of an England futbol match and then going right into Mr. Brightside immediately after they won.

👰 I am so impressed by all the planning and creativity that went into this father-daughter dance!

🌶 In case you missed it, this past week (was it this past week? I can’t remember. Time is a construct) during one of the ESPY’s evening segments, these three powerhouse ladies (Serena Williams, Venus Williams and Quinta Brunson) threw so much shade at Harrison Butker and I couldn’t help but enjoy it.
