My kids completed the last day of school for the year yesterday, and the Moon family has officially crossed over into summerland. ☀️ The lack of structure during these months is always very daunting to me, but I’m planning to fully embrace a 90’s Butter Mom summer vibe and we are going to LAY OUT AT THE POOL and EAT LUNCHABLES and DO SOME GARDENING and hope that helps balance out the madness.
I know some of you are a few weeks behind us (Alabama’s school schedule is a little wild), but I hope you have big, fun plans for the holiday weekend coming up either way. Let’s jump in to this week’s treats!

I have a can of the Agape energy drink in my fridge as we speak (peach flavor). Someone was passing them out at an event my kids and I attended, and we all felt weird about 1) accepting it, 2) saying "no thank you," 3) drinking it, and 4) throwing it away. I guess it will sit there until we die.

Anywho, my oldest finished his last exam yesterday and is now a junior. 😳my baby has a half day and will then be a 5th grader. Their school is 1-12th and the seniors always do a walk through the grammar school in their cap and gowns, high fiving the younger kids. I got REAL emotional watching the video knowing my oldest will walk those halls in 2 short years and high five his little brother. 😭😭😭😭
Anyway, this week has been a beast and I’m ready for the beach and doing nothing for the next few days!
