Love all the whimsy posts, but the "coffeeshop office hours" one especially. How do I get those friends? haha

It's been 2ish weeks of snow here and I'm ready to be done. I was just proclaiming how much better and less complainy I've been this winter only to have to ruined by some serious snow.

My brother and I both had good interviews this week! He for a new job that seems really suited to his interests and skills and me for that promotion. We'll see what happens.

For Galentine's I went out with my SIL and two of her friends that I will now be claiming as my friends. It was a lovely low-key dinner and crafts. I'd like to host some little girls nights this year!

I want to be friends with the women in the whimsical habits post so badly!! THE RACCOONS. 🀣 Reading those made me 1) feel very validated in my quirkiness and 2) gave me so many ideas to add to my quirky catalogue, especially to help with boring tasks that my ADHD brain tries to avoid at all costs.

Simply seeing Mayor Pete in that IG post carousel just about did me in. 😭 I love him so much. I also realized that aince the election, the number of gay men that I have a crush on and/or want to adopt as my brother has risen exponentially…anyone else experience this??

I've been hosting a large Galentine's brunch every year for the past 20 years - it's my favorite event of the year!!! I love being able to care for women who do so much to love and care for others!!

As always, your nuggets of truth and hilarity go hand in hand. Your parents have done an amazing job raising such an appreciative and impactful daughter. Please tell them so. ❀️

My treasure for this week is my very understanding and compassionate work family. They have been very kind as I've been out sick almost the whole week. I know that's not everyone's experience with work colleagues, and I appreciate them.

I am taking the win on the 504 lawsuits. The Coalition filed an amendment to remove declaring 504 unconstitutional after public pressure. I also loved the whimsical post. The posing of taxidermied raccoons did me in.

That was the only time during the entire show that Kevin Costner did not appear profoundly uncomfortable. Also, Cher and Carol Burnett are good friends and appeared on each other's shows a number of times: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=76vC08VA9jI

Hello, actual Pennsylvanian here! Not from Philly, but a little over an hour away, and surrounded by Eagles fans, though! CAN CONFIRM Saquon Barkley is literally too pure for this world. He went to high school in eastern PA and then Penn State so his PA connections are fairly significant, and lots of people in this part of the state at least know someone who knows him and will confirm that he is the kindest, most genuine person. Lots of accounts of him at bars in State College before being drafted (but already very well known) just being a regular nice guy, then paying for everyone’s tabs and giving the bartenders a wild tip. So yes he is 100% actually this pure and wholesome and we love him very much!!!!

This year for Galentines we made friendship bracelets and stamp cards to track and celebrate things that we want to do, and everyone took home a marker with a stamp and a felt/fabric heart with a mini flower bouquet. It was a lovely evening to spend time with the girlsπŸ’•
