🔖The Modern Mrs. Darcy summer reading guide came out last week and there are lots of great books coming out this summer. I made a little 'summer tbr' canva collage to keep track of what I want to read. It turned out very cute!
🌱Slowly but surely, I might become ok with gardening. I found no joy in maintaining my yard/flower beds last year, but seeing everything come back has been really fun and motivating!
Hello! Back in the comments this week and it feels good. My oldest had his last exam of freshman year yesterday and I cried as I picked him up while simultaneously blaring Alice Cooper’s School’s Out (which I do every year). My baby has his last day today. Third grade has been good to us. Ready for that summer life of only being responsible for me (yall know what I mean) in the mornings!
I adore Katherine Wolf and have heard her speak several times. Even met her once a few years ago. We have the same birthday 😉
Rev Lizzie is a treasure and since our church is in the process of search for a new rector, would love her to come to Dothan! 😂

Haven’t been in these comments for a hot minute but happy Friday, everyone! Today is the last academic day for 2 of my 3 kids (they still have Tuesday & Wednesday next week and I am sending them, thankyousomuchbye) and the last day of preschool for the 3rd 🥹 Do I have teacher cards ready? NOPE. Will I get Walmart gift cards before afternoon preschool starts at noon? WHO KNOWS.
-Very much loving Amy Poehler’s podcast Good Hang and Philly Justice cracked me up and warmed my heart. I live in Indiana and am convinced Parks & Rec is partially based on my hometown so I am all-in on a mini P&R reunion 🐴🧇
-I deleted IG off my phone and I hate it. I gotta find a better way to engage with it without spending all my time on it because it really does bring joy in these dark times. Any suggestions?
Highly recommend the One Sec app. I pay for the annual - it's worth it. It's broken my habit. It's annoying, so it's just not as easy to click over. And it builds in a break after whatever time you set. It's helped me break free from FB and IG... but I'm not using it on Reddit or NYT Games so... ;)
Just came on here to share that my love for this show has never wavered. But the fact that this trailer for Philly Justice exists has reconfirmed to me that Parks and Rec is the actual best.

Girl same 😂I use screen zen and like it but even before that in my Apple settings when my phone locked down NYT games is always available…
